    1. The article i read was titled “An Analysis of Teachers’ strategy in Reading Comprehension.” it discussed how teacher use different strategies to help student understand reading text more effectively. I read this article recently as part of my academic learning, and i accessed it online through a journal website. While i reading it, i felt interested because the topic is closely related to my major, but at the same time, i also felt a bit challenged due to some complex academic language.

    2. This experience was memorable because the topic is relevant to my future career as a teacher. It gave me insight into real classroom strategies. However, it was so challenging, especially because of the formal language and the way the arguments were presented. Some parts required deeper focus to fully understand the meaning.

    3. The part i usually find the most difficult is the methodology section. This is because it often contains technical terms, research procedures, and detailed explanation about data collection and analysis. Sometimes, it is hard to follow if i am not familiar with the research design used.

    4. Reading journal articles helps me improve my academic writing skills several ways. it exposes me to formal academic language, proper structure, and how to develop strong argument. i also learn how to organize ideas clearly and support then with evience. In addition, it helps me understand how to write each section of an academic paper, such as the introduction, methodology, and discussion.

1.One of my most memorable experiences reading journal articles was when I read an article about students’ difficulties in academic writing. I read it in my academic writing course last semester and accessed it through Google Scholar. Initially, I was intrigued because the topic aligned with my own learning experiences, but I also felt confused because the article used formal academic language and many terms I didn’t understand.

2.This experience was memorable because the article addressed issues I frequently encounter in writing, such as grammatical errors, limited vocabulary, and difficulty organizing ideas. However, it was also quite challenging because the journal’s structure is quite complex and some sections are difficult to understand, especially the detailed explanations.

3.The most difficult section of a journal article for me to understand is usually the methodology section, as it contains many technical terms and detailed research procedures. Sometimes the explanations are so complex that I have to read them more than once to understand them clearly.

4.I find reading journal articles helps improve my academic writing skills because I learn how to organize ideas, use formal academic language, and support arguments with evidence. Furthermore, I also gain a better understanding of academic writing structures such as the introduction, methodology, results, and discussion.

    1. I read “The Implementation of Orai Application in Teaching Speaking to Senior High School Students” two weeks ago while drafting my introduction. I accessed it via Google Scholar and Academia.edu. Reading it was insightful because it showed how this AI tool makes learning fun and engaging, helping students feel more confident and enthusiastic.
    2. The experience was memorable because of the topic focusing on AI implementation. It is fascinating to see how the Orai application uses technology to solve real-life student problems like anxiety and lack of confidence.
    3. I find the Introduction most difficult because it requires connecting various theories to build a strong background. It can be overwhelming to synthesize multiple sources, like Harmer or Bodana, to justify why the research is important.
    4. Reading journal articles improves my academic writing by providing a professional model for structure and formal language. It helps me learn how to synthesize theories, like connecting Harmer’s ideas to AI tools and teaches me the correct way to cite sources to build a strong background.

    1. It talks about why academic writing is important for university students. While reading it, I felt a bit interested but also confused because some parts were quite difficult to understand.
    2. I think the experience was challenging because of the language and the structure. The article used a lot of formal and academic words, and some sentences were quite long, so it was not easy to understand quickly. The explanation about the learning models also made it a bit harder to follow.
    3. I usually find the methodology part the most difficult because it explains the research process in detail. It often uses technical terms and specific procedures that are not easy to understand, especially if I’m not familiar with the research methods. Sometimes, it also feels too detailed, so it’s hard to follow what the researcher actually did.
    4. The sequence of words in journal articles makes me aware of my mistakes when writing in English, but sometimes I still make mistakes with the grammar.
    5. Perhaps the general challenge is the formal language used in the articles, and when reading the methodology have to focus on understanding it.

    Step 1: Share (Key Insights)
Present the key insights from your interview (e.g., process, challenges, article quality, or resources).
-Process: “The interview revealed that writing is a non-linear process. It often starts with a robust literature review to ensure the topic is current, followed by multiple rounds of internal revisions before submission.”
-Challenges: “A major challenge mentioned was aligning the manuscript with the specific ‘aims and scope’ of a target journal, as well as handling critical feedback from reviewers without becoming discouraged.”
-Article Quality: “High-quality articles must have a clear ‘thread’ that connects the research gap, the methodology, and the findings. Originality and a strong contribution to the field are essential.”
Step 2: Explain (Importance of Insights)
Tell the class why these insights are important for understanding the practices and conventions of scientific article writing.
-“These insights are crucial because they show that academic writing is not just about language proficiency, but also about understanding the ‘hidden’ rules of the publishing world. Knowing that rejection is common and part of the process helps us develop the resilience needed for academic success. Furthermore, understanding journal conventions (like formatting and ethical standards) ensures that our work is taken seriously by the scientific community.”
    Step 3: Connect (Personal Reflection)
Relate your findings to your own needs as a student writer, and suggest questions or ideas to explore in the next activity.
-Connection: “As a student writer, I often struggle with narrowing down my research gap. The insight about starting with a deep literature review resonates with my need to be more systematic in the early stages of writing.”
    – Future Exploration: “For the next activity, I would like to explore more about:
    1. How to effectively use reference management tools to maintain consistency.
    2. Specific strategies to rewrite a manuscript after receiving a ‘major revision’ decision.”

    1. I read the article “Enhancing Reading Skills: The Impact of the Easy Reading Module on Preschool Children” recently as part of my academic task. The topic focuses on how an Easy Reading Module can help improve early reading abilities in young children. I accessed it online through a journal website. While reading it, I felt interested and curious because the topic is relevant to education, especially early childhood learning, although some parts required more focus to fully understand.

    2. The experience was memorable mainly because of the topic and its practical impact on preschool education. However, it was also a bit challenging due to the academic language and the structure of the article, especially in sections that used formal terms and detailed explanations. The way the arguments were presented required careful reading to follow the main ideas clearly.

    3. The part I usually find most difficult is the methodology section. This is because it often includes technical terms, research procedures, and data analysis that are sometimes complex and unfamiliar, making it harder to understand compared to other sections like the introduction or conclusion.

    4. Reading journal articles helps improve my academic writing skills by exposing me to formal language, proper structure, and clear argumentation. It also helps me learn how to organize ideas logically, use evidence to support claims, and write in a more academic and professional style.
