    1. The topic of the journal that I read is about the struggles of teachers in teaching English vocabularies for young learner. I read it about two to three weeks ago, through Google Scholar. It was a brief journal as well so I feel motivated to make my own one.
    2. Forming the language is personally challenging for me since formal and academic is something I am not familiar with.
    3. It is mostly the reference part, in my experience. Reference part is the most complicated because besides I have to choose the references, I must credit them properly, while in another hand, I also have to be able to prove its authenticity and validity as well.
    4. With how I can learn from knowing the academic phrases’ existence first then start to learn to paraphrase it so that I can make one my own.

    1. A few weeks ago, I read a journal titled “Classroom Interaction in Communicative Language Teaching in Secondary Schools,” which discusses how teachers and students interact during English lessons. This experience was incredibly beneficial as it highlighted the gap between theory and the reality of the classroom.
    2. The part I found most interesting was that students often hesitate to speak due to a lack of confidence and the fear of making mistakes. The main challenge lies in the complex factors that hinder effective communication within the classroom environment.
    3. The “Discussion” section is usually the most difficult because it requires a profound understanding of how field data relates to various expert theories.
    4. Reading this article helped me understand proper journal structure, academic terminology, and how to cite sources correctly to avoid plagiarism.

The topic was particularly challenging because it was highly relevant and reflected actual conditions in the field, and it covered many complex yet understandable aspects.
    2. The most memorable and challenging is the structure and the language Because the structure and language of this article lean more toward an academic style, and in terms of structure, there are still many aspects I don’t fully understand

    1. I read an article about students’ difficulties in learning English vocabulary at the eighth grade level. I read it recently for my assignment, and I accessed it from an online journal. The article focuses on the problems students face when learning vocabulary, such as understanding meanings and remembering new words. While reading it, I felt interested because the topic is very close to real classroom situations. It also made me reflect on how important vocabulary is in learning English.

    2. What made this experience memorable is the topic itself, because it reflects real problems faced by students in Indonesia. I found it interesting that many students struggle with vocabulary due to limited exposure to English. It also made me realize that vocabulary is not just about memorizing words, but also understanding how to use them. The challenging part was understanding the different factors that influence students’ difficulties. I had to think carefully to connect the problems with the causes explained in the article.

    3. I usually find the methodology section the most difficult. This is because it explains how the research was conducted in a very detailed way. Sometimes I feel confused about why certain methods are used and how they help answer the research questions. It also includes specific steps that are not always easy to follow. Because of that, I need more time to understand this part.

    4. In my opinion, reading journal articles helps me understand how to develop ideas in a clear and logical way. I can learn how to explain a topic step by step, from background to conclusion. It also helps me see how researchers connect problems, causes, and solutions in their writing. Besides that, I become more aware of how to make my writing more structured and organized. Overall, it helps me write more clearly and thoughtfully.

    1. A couple weeks ago, I read an article about the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) that I found on Google Scholar. To be honest, I felt kind of overwhelmed at first because it was my first time reading a full academic paper in English. It was quite challenging to follow, but as I kept reading, I realized that the article offered many new insights that were very important for me to learn.
    2. For me, the topic was challenging because I want to figure it out if PBL is still relevant with Kurikulum Merdeka. I’m curious if this learning model actually works or not in our current schools.
    3. I found the methodology and discussion parts the most difficult to understand. It was challenging because those sections forced me to think harder to understand the process. Also, there were many technical terms that made it hard to follow the writer’s logic.
    4. By reading journal articles, I can improve my writing skills and learn how to write a formal text better. It also helps me understand the right structure for academic writing, so I know how to organize my ideas properly.

    1. I had an experience reading a journal article about the use of TikTok in learning English. I read it a few weeks ago when I was assigned to find a journal article title. I accessed the article through Google Scholar. I felt interested because the topic matched my own experience learning English with the help of TikTok. However, I also felt confused because some parts used academic language that was difficult to understand.

    2. The experience was memorable because the topic was related to my daily life and learning experience. It was also challenging because the article used formal academic language and some unfamiliar research terms.

    3. The methodology section is usually the most difficult for me because it contains technical terms and complex explanations about research methods.

    4. Reading journal articles helps me understand how to write in academic style, organize ideas clearly, and use appropriate vocabulary. This helps me improve my academic writing skills.
